Our full load intermodal door-to-door transportation offers you time savings and production benefits through combining the economies of scale of rail freight transportation with the flexibility of road transportation for pre- and on-carriage processes.

Regardless of the route: Lisbon to Moscow or Helsinki to Naples, our customers can take advantage of all of the features that intermodal transport has to offer. You can order up to 28 t per consignment(*) and your transportation process will be tracked from start to finish.
DB Cargo Transa’s intermodal full load solution has the right load container for you. With our centralised equipment pool we can offer you the right loading container based on your type and quantity requirements. The standard is a 13,6 m semi-trailer XL certified Tautliner (**) or a 7,45 m XL certified swap body. Should this standard not meet your requirements, we can offer you an individualised solution for your intermodal transportations using 45‘ containers with flats or trunk and refrigeration units. For transportation to and from Moscow and China we can provide 20 or 40 ft containers.
DB Cargo Transa offers transportation on our own intermodal trains or using fixed contingency quotas of other intermodal products from the DB Schenker group. Pre- and on-carriage organisation is carried out Europe-wide by our partner companies who adhere to a standardised high quality level of service.

We have expanded capacity for you on our intermodal focus tradelanes. This enables us to offer you fast connections with craneable trailers up to 28t load between Nuremberg - Hamburg as well as internationally, e.g. between Italy and Scandinavia or the Netherlands.
